Dear friend

We are glad that you have visited our site. The site is still in a nascent stage and we look forward to your support and feedback to achieve its full potential in the shortest possible time. The site aims at providing information in an encyclopedic manner on all the vital issues concerning the city. The topics have been arranged in an alphabetical order for convenience. The list below is still indicative and many more topics need to be added and continuous updation of relevant information is the aim of this site.

The task is a tall order and we invite you to be a contributor for any section where you have substantial expertise or where you feel you will be able to do justice because of your passion to make a difference.

We intend to develop this section along the lines of an open source platform where everybody in the community is a contributor. Contributors within each section will be duly acknowledged as managing that particular section. There will be minimal moderation primarily for the sake of standardization, correctness and brevity. We feel that this platform would be a wonderful means of getting the environmental and social community of the city together.

Operating on a shoestring budget to begin with we cannot afford paid staff for developing content and editing the vast material that is available from various sources. But we promise to make it better, crisper and more relevant.

We have no policy of making payments currently since we are keeping the section completely free of cost without any barriers to access and we hope you appreciate that.
